Myrrh, Essential Oil Wildcrafted
Commiphora Myrrha, Resin, Somalia 5 ml.
Myrrh has long been valued both in religious ceremonies and medicinally. This warm, rich, spicy, camphoraceous scent is distilled from the resin of a shrub native to eastern Africa. The Egyptians used it to make healing unguents and burned it as incense as well as for maintaining gum health. The ancient Hebrews drank it with their wine to raise consciousness. The Romans and Greeks put it in healing salves and ointments.
