Starting the practices below with yourself first, getting a solid education and participating in continuing education allows you to feel confident and help others achieve their goals through the power of sound.

Sound Therapy and the Chakras

Our crystal singing bowls are categorized based on the chakra system standardized by Western yoga traditions. We assign their tones to the chakras based on the sound healing model that uses the diatonic major musical scale to parallel the 7 primary chakras. In this model, the key note of “C” correlates with the root chakra.

The standardized chakra system used by Western yogis today is a powerful model to invoke culturally accessible imagery that can relax the physical body and alter our brain chemistry in positive ways.

Imagery and sound together do wonders to amplify the extrasensory field of our inner world of emotions. Meditating on the colors and imagery of the chakras in your practice, while sounding a corresponding crystal quartz singing bowl can provide an etheric journey to transform your emotional state.
