Sound and vibration have a fundamental impact on our existence and everyday wellness.
This is made more clear when we look at the science behind sound healing and sympathetic resonance. If you ever experienced a quartz crystal singing bowl or other sound healing tool you may have been left feeling wonderful, yet still unsure why.
The Law of Vibration in Quantum Physics states that everything in our universe, whether visible or invisible, is in a constant state of motion.
When anything is reduced to its most basic form it exists as pure light or energy. When viewed under a high-powered microscope, even solid inanimate matter exists as vibrating units or “pockets” of energy, each with their own unique rate of vibration and energetic imprint. So, essentially, everything from inanimate objects to living beings is vibrating at its own natural frequency.
One can look at this and consider that illness can be seen as dis-harmony within the mindbody. When one is not well there is an imbalance often a lack or excess of energy.
By using the properties of harmonic resonance and vibrational therapy the rate of vibration can be altered and change the structure of matter. Each of the various cell and tissue types in our bodies emit their own natural frequencies.
In 1992 Bruce Tainio built a machine that was able to determine the average frequency of the human body as whole and the average frequency of certain organs and glands.
He also demonstrated that when these tissue types are diseased their vibrations decrease significantly. He found that when the frequency of the human body as a whole drops, the immune system is compromised.
The machine he created is called a BT3 Frequency Monitoring System. This device – modified and perfected over the years – used a highly sensitive sensor to measure bio-electrical frequencies of plant nutrients and essential oils.
Below are a few examples of the frequency of essential oils.
It has also been measured that fresh produce has a frequency up to 15 MHz, dry herbs from 12 to 22 MHz, and fresh herbs from 20 to 27 MHz. Processed and canned foods have no measurable frequency whatsoever.
What does this mean for us as humans? In his book, The Body Electric, Dr. Robert O. Becker tells us that the human body has an electrical frequency, and also that much can be told about a person’s health by its frequency levels.
Also, according to Dr. Richard Gerber MD, author of Vibrational Medicine, one of the best ways we can change dysfunctional patterns in our energy bodies is to administer therapeutic doses of “frequency-specific subtle energy in the form of vibrational medicines.”
Further studies conducted in 1992 by Tainio Technology, as an independent division of Eastern State University in Cheny, Washington, found that when a person’s frequency drops below the optimum healthy range, the immune system is compromised.
That studies findings concluded the following. Human cells can start to change (mutate) when their frequency drops below 62MHz. 58 MHz is the frequency of your body when you have a cold or the flu. When candida is present within your body, you vibrate at a frequency of 55MHz. 52 MHz is the frequency of a body with Epstein-Barr virus present. 42 MHz is the frequency of a body wherein cancer can appear.
When the death process begins – the frequency has been measured at 20 MHz. The principle of entrainment helps us understand how applying sound healing techniques help us raise our bodies various frequencies to optimal levels.
A harmonious sound projected at a person – who’s atoms, molecules, cells, glands and organs all have a vibrational frequency – can bring them into resonance with that healing tone.
Emotional effects of sound and vibrational medicine are also evident to those working in the field of sound healing.
Sound very well may influence neurotransmitters and neuropeptides, in turn helping to regulate the immune system.
When the brain waves and body are synchronized, balance can be restored and tension/stress released. The sound vibrations impact our nervous system, engaging our relaxation response and inhibiting the stress or pain response. When one vibratory body is in close proximity to another of “harmonic likeness,” their frequencies will synchronize. This effect is called Sympathetic Resonance.
For example, if you are out exercising in nature you may feel more alert and happy. But if you are inside working under uncomfortable lighting you may feel achy, tired and depleted. Exercising is more physically taxing, however one feels more energized in nature because you come into resonant frequency with the higher vibrating life forms around you. Trees, plants, animals, sunshine and water. You have also removed yourself from draining environments, emf waves and lower vibration environments.
So how do you begin to incorporate more resonant frequency into your life? Here are some quick tips to begin today.
Listen to binaural beats
The naturally occurring binaural beats from the gongs and the tuning forks create a pulsating tone that feels good and helps you to relax. The more you listen the deeper you relax, as your brain waves begin to entrain with the tone, generating dynamic neuronal connections in all parts of the brain.
Meditate With A Singing Bowl
Incorporating a singing bowl either Himalayan or Quartz Crystal allows you to begin practicing raising your personal vibration right away. Sound penetrates every organ, cell, muscle and our energy bodies. Your mindbody in kind raises to meet the vibration of the bowl.
Your own voice is one of the most powerful instruments available to you. Consider adopting a daily chant or simply holding a tone for an extended period. If you are suffering with an emotional or physical ailment, connect to it and and give it a tone. Gently keep raising the tone octave by octave until the feeling dissipates within you.
Sound is heard not only through our ears, but through every cell in our bodies “It’s the profoundest non chemical medication” ― Oliver Sacks, Neurologist ―
It is worth noting that the Latin transcription of the word “person” is “Being of sound”. We are vibration and by incorporating more sound healing and vibrational medicine into our daily lives we take control of our personal wellness.
